Continuing Education Credits

Since I offer a series of trainings - Basic Training for Direct Service Providers - I have been asked about Continuing Education Units (CEU's). I have done some checking and found that there are no real guidelines for CEU's. If your licensing agent or whatever type of agency you report to accepts the trainings, then they count as CEU's.

In California, day programs don't require staff to have CEU's, but residential programs do. I am not sure about other states. If you are interested, I would suggest that you show the samples I would provide to whomever is requiring you to have CEU's for your staff, and see if they would count them. My guess is, yes, they would.

The series of trainings are 12-14 hours total, and every 10 hours of training counts as 1 CEU.

You can read more about the training series at my www.mosscanyon.com website. The series is for purchase so that you can put on the trainings yourself instead of paying me a fortune in fees and travel expenses to come to your place... which I am willing to do for the right price!

Also, I had someone ask if they could talk to someone about my SNAP Curriculum... someone who has used it.

I don't generally get feedback from people who have purchased it, and I don't give out my customer's information anyway, so...

If there is anyone who is using the curriculum, I would love to hear how it is working for you and so would Beth Monaco. You can contact her at:

Beth.Monaco@monarchnc.org

And thank you for your support.
